Midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni believes Real Madrid will quickly bounce back after their defeat to Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final on April 27.

On his personal social media account, Tchouameni wrote: "They are celebrating our defeat as if we will never win again." The French midfielder expressed his displeasure at witnessing Barcelona players celebrating throughout the day.

In the comments section, Tchouameni added: "We will be back."

Tchouameni and Kylian Mbappe were the two goalscorers for Real in the Copa del Rey final. "Los Blancos" were judged to have only played well during the last seven minutes of the second half in the recent El Clasico. For the rest of the match, Carlo Ancelotti’s side displayed problems that have plagued them throughout the season.

European media outlets believe that Real Madrid suffered a comprehensive defeat against Barcelona, both in terms of performance and attitude. The red cards shown to Antonio Rüdiger and Lucas Vazquez, along with Jude Bellingham’s frustrated behavior after the match, further damaged the image of "Los Blancos."

In their three encounters with Barcelona this season, Real Madrid have lost all three. Back in January, Ancelotti’s men also suffered a 0-4 defeat to Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup.

Barcelona and Real Madrid will face off once again in La Liga on May 11 at the Olímpic Lluís Companys Stadium. The Catalan club currently leads the domestic league with 76 points after 33 rounds, four points ahead of Real Madrid.
